Hadlow Road Station, Willaston. On A540 from Chester direction, turn right into Hadlow Road at 3rd set of traffic lights after Two Mills lights, ie the turn after Gordale Garden Centre (signposted B5151 Willaston and Wirral Country Park). Or from Heswall direction, 2nd traffic lights after Hinderton Arms lights turn left into Hadlow Road (signposted B5151 Willaston).  

Go along Hadlow Road until you pass old level crossing gates at side of road for Wirral Way and turn immediately right into car park. Anyone approaching Willaston from other direction, from Willaston Green turn down Hadlow Road and station is on left before level crossing gates.  Map.

Lay-by on Mill Hill Road, Irby SJ254857 Take A540 through Heswall. Just as you leave the built-up area, turn right into Mere Lane then left into Irby Road. In Irby, turn right immediately AFTER the Anchor pub into Manor Road then left into Mill Hill Road. Lay-by is on right 400m after end of 30 mph limit.  Map.

The Old White House, Conwy  LL32 8DP.  Take A55 into Wales.  Turn off at J17 (first junction after the Conwy tunnel).  Turn left and follow the A547 for a few hundred yards, the Old White House Inn is on the right.  Park in the pub car park.  Sunday roast dinners £5.  Thwaites bitter.  Map.
